    What will you be doing?

    We seek a highly skilled Security Analyst specializing in data management to advance our organization's strategies and capabilities in protecting against and recovering from cyber threats. This role involves designing and implementing comprehensive resilience frameworks, assessing risk and vulnerabilities, and ensuring our cybersecurity services align with industry best practices, common frameworks, and regulatory requirements.

    Responsibilities:

    The Cyber Resilience Security Analyst will assist in a wide range of business and technical control strategies focused on Cyber Resilience. These range from building and implementing quantitative risk assessments, managing data from various activities like vulnerability assessments, intrusion detection, and endpoint monitoring, or managing deception capabilities like honey pots. The analyst will derive insights, create reports, and ensure client compliance with security policies. Additionally, they collaborate with client IT teams and participate in security drills to assist in the evaluation of response effectiveness. These responsibilities collectively will enhance the client’s ability to sustain operations during a cyber crisis.

    • Participate in quantitative risk analysis to identify and prioritize risks within the client’s infrastructure, leveraging experience in designing and implementing master data configurations and educating business users on system use and configuration management. Confidently learn and utilize specific risk assessment tools as required. Frequently assist and coach business users through master data management and configuration.
    • Create detailed reports on risk assessments, incidents, and remediation efforts to inform stakeholders. Utilize skills in creating compelling charts, tables, and other visuals. Experienced with Tableau and Microsoft Power BI to build visualizations that effectively communicate business data, driving decision-making and change where necessary.
    • Work with IT teams, security consultants, and other stakeholders to document and improve client security measures. Effectively collaborates with cross-functional teams to develop and document processes. Experienced in authoring both technical and business-focused documentation.
    • As a member of a project team, conduct data analysis, partner with senior engineering team members, and deliver advanced technology outcomes for clients, using tools such as Python, MSSQL, and other relevant technologies. Leverage Python, SQL (including MSSQL, Postgres, Oracle), and other technologies to deliver process automation and analytics, enabling business users and streamlining internal processes.
    • Participate in interviews, workshops, and surveys to gather requirements and assess current processes, ensuring effective communication and engagement with all levels of management. Confidently learn specific platforms used for initial analysis and drive conversations with the business to gather necessary information.
    • Help maintain project plans and schedules. Assist in project planning, coordination, and execution to ensure timely delivery and client satisfaction, leveraging project management experience with assessments and specific tools managed by the analyst. Serve as the project manager for enterprise-level initiatives to ensure on-time delivery, coordinate deliverables, and maintain communication channels with relevant stakeholders. Assist the project team where applicable.
    • Present results and recommendations to clients and partners, drawing on experience in delivering insights and recommendations to business leaders. Comfortable with engaging clients and walking through results and recommendations.
    • Support the creation of educational and sales materials to empower WWT account teams, leveraging experience in creating demos, analyses, articles, and other content. Utilize experience in building educational materials to assist in the creation of content for WWT sales and educational needs.
    • Build demos, analyses, articles, and other content for WWT related to the data gathering and risk analysis.

    Qualifications:

    • BA/BS required in computer science, information technology, software engineering, engineering, data science, or other related fields.
    • < 3 years of work experience, including internships, in one or more of the following areas is preferred: Management Consulting, Engineering, Scientific Research, Technology Sales, Cybersecurity, Data Science, or Application Development.
    • Excellent communication and engagement skills; ability to communicate with all levels of management.
    • Skilled at multitasking requirements including gathering, testing, troubleshooting, and supporting tasks across multiple user groups in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment.
    • Ability to generate creative solutions to difficult or ambiguous problems.
    • Proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint & Excel.
    • Foundational skills in asking pertinent questions to grasp business challenges and identify key metrics or objectives.
    • Developing internal communication skills, learning to effectively communicate with different levels of management.
    • Proficiency in managing multiple tasks, including requirement gathering, document writing, and support activities.
    • A problem-solving mindset, contributing creative solutions to complex issues in collaborative team environments.
    • The capability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, adapt to changing priorities, and manage multiple responsibilities effectively.
