The Senior 5G Wireless Project Manager will be responsible for managing multiple concurrent projects focused on the delivery of Verizon Private networks and Mobile Edge Computing (MEC) solutions including design, implementation, and handoff to support. This role encompasses a wide range of responsibilities including project governance, financial tracking and analysis, partner contracting and management, application of standard project management processes and artifacts, risk management, process and methodology development and improvement.
The Project Manager will lead cross functional teams across multiple lines of business (including, but not limited to: Verizon Enterprise, Verizon Wireless (Product, IBV Radio Frequency, Regulatory and Construction and GNT) to ensure a high-quality delivery of PWN and MEC deployments. This individual must work collaboratively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and be able to proactively seek creative solutions to complex problems.
What you’ll be doing:
Provide customer with a single point of contact for all project communications
Project planning, including developing project objectives, developing work breakdown structures, developing schedules, identifying quality acceptance procedures and documenting a project plan
Project implementation, including tracking and evaluating schedules, managing change control, coordinating the activities of all organizations involved in the implementation, issuing project reports and implementing project controls
Overseeing and managing the overall installation process, including ordering (equipment and backhaul), RF engineering, infrastructure readiness and construction, installation, turn up, delivery to ongoing support and equipment and services invoicing.
Project completion and close-out, including obtaining customer agreement of close-out

You’ll need to have...
Bachelor’s Degree or four or more years of work experience
Six or more years of relevant work experience
Six or more years of experience managing technical programs and projects related to networking or cellular engineering projects
Industry project management certification such as PMP or CAPM
Experience leading complex and concurrent endeavors
Experience influencing others to take action and collaborating with various stakeholders
Experience working effectively under extreme time constraints and deliver against critical deadlines
Experience working independently, taking high level direction and proactively moving a project or internal initiative from start to finish with minimal assistance.
Even better if you also have...
Experience within cellular technology, radio frequency, regulatory and construction
Experience with Smartsheets and Google docs.
Technical industry certifications such as CCNA, JNCIA, etc.
Excellent organizational & communication skills and be able to work with a sense of urgency
Able to perform a wide variety of organizational tasks and direct the work of others.

In this hybrid role, you'll have a defined work location that includes work from home and a minimum eight assigned office days per month that will be set by your manager.

If you are hired into a California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Maryland, Nevada, New York, Rhode Island, Washington or Washington, D.C. work location, the compensation range for this position is between $108,000.00 and $200,000.00 annually based on a full-time schedule. The salary will vary depending on your location and confirmed job-related skills and experience. This is an incentive based position with the potential to earn more. For part time roles, your compensation will be adjusted to reflect your hours.
