What you’ll be doing...
The Sr. Analyst - Project Manager will lead a significant effort in the Public Sector Program Management organization within VBG whilst also supporting external teams who interface directly with IT developers on a daily basis. The business team is in need of technical expertise and input with regards to BSS (business support systems) as well as OSS (operational support systems), to include overall VBG backend infrastructure that support internal applications as well as customer facing tools. The project management side of the role will focus on managing IT projects using the agile delivery methodology, as well as managing data cleanup activities specific to the FAA FENS contract.
The Candidate will be responsible for:
Analyzing contract requirements and translate those requirements into functional development tasks for our IT development partners
Project managing multiple IT projects meeting timelines, ensuring they remain within scope and budget
Interfacing with cross functional counterparts daily
Defining and creating user stories for IT, based on translating complicated requirements out of customer solicitations and RFPs
Hosting project calls, touchpoints, solution reviews, user story demos, etc.
Managing testing of new development and defects as necessary
Quickly understanding current business processes, then determining and implementing process improvements that align with system development
Understanding the system architecture to provide the best solution(s) for complex challenges
Preparing user guides for user communities
Documenting lessons learned and best practices through post mortem activities
Capturing and calculating business benefits, both quantitative and qualitative
Maintaining certain source documentation such as mapping documents and complex spreadsheets

You are happiest when all the i’s are dotted and t’s are crossed and enjoy the challenge of bringing order to chaos.
You’ll need to have:
Three or more years of relevant experience required, demonstrated through work experience and/or military experience.
Three or more years of relevant work experience specific to Project Management and/or Agile Methodologies.
Worked in a backend infrastructure or equivalent technical field
Familiarity with core infrastructure capabilities and are able to operationalize functional requirements to support backend infrastructure and core systems
Even better if you have one or more of the following:
A Master's degree.
Managed programs and/or user experience design
Ability to read and comprehend system flow or high level architecture diagrams
Exceptional organizational and time management skills
Expertise in Microsoft Office and Google Product Suites
Customer service experience with internal and external clients.
Translated complex ideas to be relevant and understood by various functions and levels.

If you are hired into a California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Nevada, New York, Rhode Island, Washington or Washington, D.C. work location, the compensation range for this position is between $83,000.00 and $155,000.00 annually based on a full-time schedule. The salary will vary depending on your location and confirmed job-related skills and experience. This is an incentive based position with the potential to earn more. For part time roles, your compensation will be adjusted to reflect your hours.
