    What you’ll be doing...

    We are seeking a Senior Engineer-Software Development to join our Value GTS organization. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining a new experience platform for our Call Center and Store applications. This includes creating seamless UI experiences for agents and dealers, integrating cutting-edge Conversational AI technologies, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional business value.

    • Developing and coding next-generation microservices using Spring Boot and React UI

    • Driving software development and programming in Java and J2EE, utilizing Agile methodologies

    • Building and maintaining unified sales and service applications within the Northstar Architecture (NSA) tech stack

    • Providing technical solutions and business expertise on complex projects across multiple channels

    • Collaborating with business partners to design and implement partner programs for store channels, including Exclusive Retail Stores, Agent Retail, and National Retailers.

    • Leading and delivering programs in a product-based Agile structure

    • Maintaining functional/technical requirements, analyzing system architectures, and ensuring optimal device-system interactions

    • Managing vendor relationships to drive quality, reliability, and timely delivery

    • Leading emerging technology initiatives, facilitating decision-making and driving integration with vendor products

    • Driving DevOps implementations from ideation to delivery

    • Partnering with Global Delivery teams to create and optimize cross-channel experiences

    • Delivering results within budget, time, quality, and strategic KPIs

    • Documenting and complying with software quality, data security, and compliance processes

    • Analyzing market trends, identifying growth opportunities, and developing strategies to support business goals

    • Recommending and implementing customer experience process improvements

    • Resolving customer complaints in a timely and effective manner

    What we’re looking for...

    You’ll need to have:

    • Four or more years of relevant experience required, demonstrated through work and/or military experience

    • Experience in Software Development

    • Experience in Java, J2EE, and React UI

    • Experience implementing AI solutions for call centers or distribution channels

    Even better if you have one or more of the following:

    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field

    • Experience in Spring Boot

    • Software development experience, including Agile project management

    • Experience with AWS, Oracle, Cassandra/NoSQL databases

    • Experience in eCommerce and catalog management software

    • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

    • Experience delivering large, complex software programs

    • Solid understanding of technology selection, architecture, and full-stack implementation

    • Experience in Design Thinking and Engineering Transformation (DevOps, Microservices, AI)

    • Strong leadership and organizational skills, with the ability to motivate large teams

    • Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and written communication skills

    • Knowledge of VGS Tech systems and functions

    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

    • Results-oriented with a strong customer focus

    • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment

    If you are hired into a California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Maryland, Nevada, New York, Rhode Island, Washington or Washington, D.C. work location, the compensation range for this position is between $113,000.00 and $210,000.00 annually based on a full-time schedule. The salary will vary depending on your location and confirmed job-related skills and experience. This is an incentive based position with the potential to earn more. For part time roles, your compensation will be adjusted to reflect your hours.
