The Operations & Channel Strategy team, as part of the Indirect Distribution organization, orchestrates strategic programs and initiatives from conception to execution, ensuring channel readiness and operational excellence.
As the Senior Manager - Program Management, you will serve as an operator, implementer, integrator, advisor and strategist for the Indirect Distribution organization. In this position, you will work to strategically streamline activities in alignment with the organization’s priorities. You also will be responsible for leading a wide variety of functions including strategic planning, financial management, executive support, and project management.
In this role, you'll have a defined work location that includes work from home and assigned office days (in-office days are Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday)
In this role you will:
Create comprehensive channel strategy threaded together across the Indirect Distribution channel teams, ensuring delivery of key metrics and alignment between the various teams
Own complex channel level initiatives end to end with the focus of driving expansion and profitability across all of the Indirect Distribution
Own organizational level initiatives, working with various levels of Verizon Value leadership, including creation of senior executive level presentations by leveraging data insights & business acumen
Develop and implement streamlined processes to ensure success & continuity across the team and for additional business / channel partners
Develop and implement leadership governance related to key strategic initiatives and functioning of the organization & its team members
Consistently deliver high quality work that fully addresses the intended criteria, goals, and objectives
Effectively communicate verbally and in writing to stakeholders, team members, and leadership
You’ll need to have:
Six or more years of relevant experience required, demostrated through one or a combination of work and/or military experience, or specialized training.
Experience in program and/or project management.
Willingness to travel up to approximately 25% of the time.
Even better if you have one or more of the following:
An MBA, or an M.S. in a related field.
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification, VLSS certification in Green Belt or Black Belt.
Experience working with external partners and/or vendors
Advanced executive presentation skills including creating content and associated backup materials
Understanding of the financial planning and management process at Verizon.
Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision.
Ability to work in a cross-functional team environment with changing and evolving roles and responsibilities.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
A team player orientation collaborating well with others.
A passion for delivering exceptional experiences to partners and consumers.
In this hybrid role, you'll have a defined work location that includes work from home and a minimum eight assigned office days per month that will be set by your manager.
