What you’ll be doing... ​

As a Senior Product Development Manager concentrating in AI Insights & AI Connect, you will be part of the Verizon Business Group Technology Solutions organization in aligning customer outcomes to use cases and data that is necessary to deliver on those outcomes. You will play a pivotal role in shaping the development and implementation of AI/ML and Generative AI into our AI Insights & AI Connect products and their customer experience. You will be responsible for programs and initiatives that leverage AI/ML and Generative AI technologies across different AI Insights & AI Connect offerings within the Verizon Business Group.

You will work closely with stakeholders across all parts of the business including Product Management, Technology Solutions peer teams, IT, Partners, and Global Customer Operations teams to execute growth projects and new product features. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of breaking down complex problems into steps that drive product development. The ideal candidate will also understand the AI Insights & AI Connect landscape; where it is now and where it is headed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead technical discussions and be a thought leader during product reviews

• Integrate your technical knowledge, subject matter expertise, and understanding of trends to make sound decisions and influence business direction through data-driven analysis

• Responsible for designing and executing process and strategy frameworks that facilitate product-related goal setting, decision-making, and business impact

• Develop and manage end-to-end project plans and ensure on-time delivery

• Articulate to stakeholders the team’s technology vision, requirements, goals, and milestones

• Provide hands-on program management during analysis, design, development, testing, implementation, and post-implementation phases

• Own the execution of Applied AI/ML and GenAI use cases and technologies for AI Insights & AI Connect

What we’re looking for...

You’ll need to have:

• Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.

• Six or more years of relevant experience required, demonstrated through one or a combination of work and/or military experience, or specialized training.

• Six or more years experience as a Product Manager or Technology Solutions Manager.

• Six or more years experience in product management with technical products.

• Experience introducing new products to end customers in previous roles that have dramatically changed market dynamics.

• Knowledge of AI/ML and Gen AI landscape and can shape strategy and engage with stakeholders.

Even better if you have one or more of the following:

• Advanced degree

• Familiarity with big-data systems and machine learning.

• Demonstrated strategic thinking, problem solving, and interpersonal skills.

In this hybrid role, you'll have a defined work location that includes work from home and a minimum eight assigned office days per month that will be set by your manager.

If you are hired into a California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Nevada, New York, Rhode Island, Washington or Washington, D.C. work location, the compensation range for this position is between $128,000.00 and $238,000.00 annually based on a full-time schedule. The salary will vary depending on your location and confirmed job-related skills and experience. This is an incentive based position with the potential to earn more. For part time roles, your compensation will be adjusted to reflect your hours.
