    Job Summary:

    The Training Specialist develops content that creates a dynamic and engaging learning experience that supports the needs of the business. This position works with subject matter experts to understand needs and identify appropriate training method options. The Training Specialist will support the creation of classroom and blended curriculums in a high-volume training department. This position will report to the Training Supervisor.

    Job Responsibilities:

    • Facilitates curriculum to various levels of employees in both classroom and online setting using various forms of media.
    • Supports all instructor-led training for new and current employees and leaders.
    • Provides training to new employees on systems, policies, and procedures of the department or retrains existing employees on new information or procedures to ensure they remain successful.
    • Facilitates learning programs, meetings, and events to transfer knowledge and prepare leaders within the organization.
    • Designs and develops learning content that includes the use of media and technology to enhance participant experience and transfer of knowledge and skills.
    • Maintains instructor-led course materials. Ensures materials are properly stored and versioned on appropriate communities.
    • Ability to maintain and build strong relationships with the leadership to supply feedback and direction.
    • Performs administrative duties on the Learning Management System, including, but not limited to: scheduling and tracking of instructor-led training, creating materials and videos, managing users, assigning training, reporting, and testing new content.

    Job Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Educational Technology, Education or combination of comparable work experience.
    • Experience working with the development and implementation of learning and performance support in a corporate environment preferred.
    • Experience in facilitation and classroom management.
    • Understanding of adult learning theories and how to apply.
    • Strong written and oral communication skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with frequent changes.
    • Self-starter, able to effectively prioritize activities with little direction.
    • Embraces change, has passion and strong work ethic and a can-do attitude, can foster teamwork, and displays honesty and integrity in all situations.
    • Must possess a motivating personality by being the face of WWT to new and existing employees.
    • High proficiency with Microsoft Office suite of products, especially PowerPoint.

    Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

    • This role includes assignment of work for specific WWT customers.
      • Some customers have specific on-boarding requirements, including background check and drug testing requirements that go beyond WWT's requirements.
      • Ability to meet these requirements may be necessary for continued employment, depending on needs of the department.

    Compensation/ Benefits


    Certain states and localities require employers to post a reasonable estimate of salary range. A reasonable estimate of the current base salary range for this position is $20.00 to $25.00 an hour. Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors, including shift, location, experience, skill set, performance, licensure and certification, and business needs. The range for this position in other geographic locations may differ. Certain positions may also be eligible for variable incentive compensation, such as bonuses or commissions, that is not included in the base salary.
