    Northern Trust entry level hires begin their career by gaining a strong foundation within our core businesses. Working with sophisticated clientele, new partners will learn and develop skills in client servicing, relationship management analysis and reporting.

    Areas of opportunity could include, but are not limited to:

    • Global Fund Services (GFS) serves the investment management community through a range of administrative and operational solutions that provide data to support investment strategy and meet the needs of front office professionals, operations teams, investors and regulators.

    • Hedge Fund Services (HFS) is a leading provider of middle and back office administration services to hedge funds and other organizations with complex assets and strategies.

    There will be 3 stages of the application process. Upon completion of all steps, our recruiters will work with selected candidates on identifying the best role for them.

  • Qualifications

    Specific skills will of course depend upon specific roles, but generally speaking, we’re looking for individuals who bring:

    • Bachelor’s or Associates degree in a related field and/or equivalent work experience
    • For select roles, a Master's in Accounting and/or working towards CPA eligibility is preferred
    • Active communicator with leadership, teamwork and client service abilities
    • Strong oral and written communication skills
    • Analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills
    • Passion for learning with ability to learn quickly in high-pressure environments
    • Well-rounded with an appreciation of diversity and inclusion
    • Knowledge of and interest in the financial services industry
