We’re looking for an entrepreneurial student to join WayUp’s Brand Marketing team for Summer 2019. Our ideal candidate has a knack for balancing efficiency and effectiveness and always pays close attention to detail, never compromising quality for turnaround time. This candidate is a team player who has a can-do attitude and is committed to seeing projects through from ideation to execution.

• Brainstorm and create content for company’s social media accounts
• Maintain an organized multi-platform content scheduling calendar
• Track and report social media analytics on a weekly basis
• Create and implement user surveys and report results
• Assist in planning, promoting and executing events
• Write and edit copy and presentations
• Facilitate partnership opportunities

This position is at WayUp headquarters in New York City. This intern will work directly with WayUp’s Brand Marketing team and have opportunities to connect with and learn from other team members and leaders in the company. This position is ideal for a Sophomore, Junior, or senior interested in gaining experience in brand marketing and communication.

• Current college Junior or Senior
• Strong communicator
• Organized, pays close attention to detail
• Possess a sense of urgency with excellence in follow through
• Social media savvy and well-versed on social networking platforms, active life on social media
• Exceptional writing and grammar skills
• Creative mind with strong aesthetic/artistic sensibility
• Comfortable and confident using Google Suite, Photoshop experience is a plus
