    YOUR JOB

    This position will be deeply embedded within the SMB Growth Marketing team to help execute growth-focused content marketing strategies in at least 6 markets. 

    The SEO Analyst will work with the SMB Growth Marketing team to conduct topic research, competitor analysis, SEO tests and on-site audits. The SEO Analyst will collaborate closely with content producers to drive organic performance of employer-focused content. Additionally, the Analyst will work closely with engineers and PM's to document and fix technical SEO issues found during audits.

    Optimally, the SEO Analyst will use scripting, data manipulation and/or APIs to explore scalable solutions to address these responsibilities.

    YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Serve as a subject matter expert for SEO within the SMB Growth Marketing team

    • Conduct research for employer-focused content creation across 6 markets in at least 5 languages

    • Use SEO tools to track performance and understand trends in search performance across 6 markets

    • Work with content producers to ensure that content is optimized for search

    • Ideate and scope different ideas for tests; new content types/templates, new content features, new schema adoption, etc.

    • Help opportunity-size business impact of developing new features to inform product roadmaps

    • Communicate effectively with relevant business and engineering stakeholders

    WHO YOU ARE

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • 5+ years of SEO experience conducting keyword research, content ideation, technical SEO audits, and content review

    • Immaculate written and verbal communication skills; ability to communicate complex SEO concepts to both business stakeholders and engineers via technical writing, business writing, data and presentations, both prepared and extemporaneous.

    • Experience with SEO tools such as Ahrefs, Semrush, Screaming Frog, and Getstat 

    • Strong knowledge of Google Search Console and Google Analytics with the ability to analyze data, create reports and dashboards

    • Strong critical-thinking, research and problem-solving skills

    • Excellent time-management, organization and project management skills, with attention to detail from inception through execution

    • Must have a good understanding of web development principles and web technologies, including HTML, CSS and JavaScript

    NICE TO HAVE:

    • 1+ years of SQL experience (or other query-based languages)

    • 1+ years of Python experience (or other scripting-based languages)

    • 1+ years of Git experience (or other version control platforms)

    • Experience growing large-scale editorial websites and/or ecommerce websites

    • Experience using APIs to generate useful and delightful content at scale.

    • Experience with non-English keyword/topic research

Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance.
