PIMCO FUTURE LEADERS SCHOLARSHIP

We are committing $1 million annually to help build the next generation of financial leaders at PIMCO and in the industry. Founded in 2021, PIMCO Future Leaders Scholarship will award 50 scholarships of $20,000 to Black and Hispanic/Latinx students who have an interest in investment management to pursue their goals through continued education.

Scholarship recipients will be selected from undergraduate and graduate student applicants. Scholarships will be awarded to candidates who have the potential to excel as leaders, demonstrate financial need and exhibit PIMCO's CORE values of collaboration, openness, responsibility and excellence.

Award Amount: $20,000

Application Process

• You will be required to submit a resume and complete an application, inclusive of a short questionnaire (time commitment: 5-10 minutes)
• Final round selection interviews to take place mid-April to mid-May
• Award recipients will be notified and invited to an award ceremony at the PIMCO Headquarters in Newport Beach, CA
• Applications received after April 3rd at 11:59pm PST will not be considered

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:

• Undergraduates currently enrolled in an accredited U.S. college or university as freshmen or sophomores (graduating between Dec 2023 - July 2025), in good academic standing
• MBA or Master's students entering the 1st year of their U.S.-based program in Fall 2022. Proof of admittance & intention to attend will be required
• Ph.D. students currently enrolled at U.S. institution in good academic standing
• Identify as Black or African-American and/or Hispanic/Latinx
• Financial need will be a consideration
