    Mariner Overview:

    Mariner Investment Group, LLC is an investment manager with approximately $8.2B of assets under management as of November 30, 2024, predominantly in fixed income relative value and credit strategies.

    Position Overview:

    Repo Analyst will focus on data analysis, workflow and reporting improvements, and assist in trade execution to finance our rates and credit portfolios. This role is part of the Mariner Atlantic Global Funding team and will report to the Global Head of Funding. The team is responsible for providing financing and relationship management with the firm’s stakeholders including counterparties and portfolio managers.

    Main Responsibilities:

    • Create and develop tools to enhance workflow automation, trading execution, data analysis, and reporting

    • Execute repo transactions to ensure portfolio is fully funded across all products

    Compensation • Terms of employment: Full-time, non-exempt • Location: New York, NY (Onsite) • Benefits: Full medical, dental and vision coverage • Salary: $85,000 to $100,000, commensurate with experience Individual salaries for this role may vary based on various factors including but not limited to, candidate skills and experience. Eligibility to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program is subject to rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors including but not limited to, individual and organizational performance.

  • Qualifications

    Education, Skills, & Experience:

    • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering or relevant industry experience

    • Proficiency in Microsoft excel, SQL, VBA, PowerQuery (DAX)

    • 0-3 years relevant work experience

    • Works well under pressure with the ability to multitask and prioritize workload while adhering to strict deadlines

    • Organized, detail-oriented, accurate, self-motivated, team player

    • Strong verbal and written communication skills
