As a Global Finance Accountant Summer Associate based in San Antonio, TX you will take an active role within the Global Finance organization. You will have the opportunity to interact with various teams within and outside of Global Finance, utilizing both the technical and interpersonal skills you are continuing to develop through your education. You will make meaningful contributions as a member of the team.
Our Global Finance Group partners with other Capital Group departments to proactively provide relevant, timely, and accurate financial reporting and analysis, innovative solutions, and other insightful information that impacts business decision-making while protecting company interests. Success in this role can lead to a full-time offer as an Accountant based in San Antonio, TX.
You’ll assist with various accounting and financial reporting tasks, completing audit/regulatory requirements
You'll reconcile balance sheet accounts and research complex accounting matters
You’ll develop an understanding of business operations and key drivers
You’ll seek opportunities to streamline and improve the efficiency of reporting and processes
You’ll participate in ad-hoc projects and initiatives

You’re currently a junior pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance or related with an anticipated graduation date of Spring 2026
You have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above
You have an interest in pursuing a career in accounting
You have demonstrated leadership in extra-curricular activities
You express ideas effectively and interact professionally with others
You are a continuous learner, with a hunger for knowledge
You are highly collaborative
Base Rate: $24/hour
In addition to a highly competitive base salary, per plan guidelines, restrictions and vesting requirements, you also will be eligible for an individual annual performance bonus, plus Capital’s annual profitability bonus plus a retirement plan where Capital contributes 15% of your eligible earnings.
