As a Technology Risk Oversight Specialist, you will be responsible for independently overseeing, reviewing, and assessing Capital Group’s information and cyber security processes, risks, and controls against industry best practice, industry frameworks, and regulatory developments. This associate will prepare required documentation and present findings and recommendations to senior stakeholders, working closely with first line partners to develop and prioritize risk mitigation strategies, and independently monitor progress against these.

You have a minimum of 5-7 years of technology risk management and oversight experience
Expert knowledge of technology and security risk management frameworks, industry standards, and regulatory requirements relevant to the financial industry
Holds active and relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CISA
Strong technical and practical knowledge of information and cyber security processes and risk management practices
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Collaborates with stakeholders and senior leaders regionally and globally
Excellent conflict resolution, influencing and delegation skills
Ability to prioritize assigned work and complete activities in a timely manner
Experience acting as technical expert reference for associates and leadership
Ability to work independently and demonstrate sound judgment in resolving matters of high complexity
A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Engineering, or a related technical field is highly desirable
Southern California Base Salary Range: $153,965-$246,344
New York Base Salary Range: $163,212-$261,139
In addition to a highly competitive base salary, per plan guidelines, restrictions and vesting requirements, you also will be eligible for an individual annual performance bonus, plus Capital’s annual profitability bonus plus a retirement plan where Capital contributes 15% of your eligible earnings.
