Essential Job Functions We are looking for a Branding & Creative Coordinator to join our growing in-house design team within the Firms Business Development/Marketing Department. The coordinator will support the associate creative director in external and internal branding and marketing initiatives. S/he will also communicate and collaborate daily with nearly 100 diverse problem-solvers and advisers dedicated to the broader business development, marketing and communications efforts of the Firm. Our international business development team provides seamless service to our attorneys with a focus on quality, innovation and responsiveness. The ideal candidate will have strong graphic design, production and problem solving skills to help create engaging print and digital marketing materials that align with Kirklands corporate aesthetic. S/he will be an adept team player who is comfortable receiving constructive feedback, executing designs from concept to completion. Having a passion for exploring emerging design and marketing trends is a must. We encourage our designers to pursue professional development opportunities. The coordinator will have the exciting opportunity to be part of a large and on-going rebranding effort, helping to define new brand standards, create brand assets and change the face of the Firms visual communications. They will actively contribute ideas and help execute the redesign of our materials and expand upon the existing core brand. The coordinator should understand how the Firms brand strategy plays into the broader marketing ecosystem and will collaborate closely with the New York business development/marketing teams and other internal clientele to meet requirements and deadlines for a wide array of projects spanning all offices. SPECIFIC JOB DUTIES Create engaging print and digital marketing materials including brochures, advertisements, templates, presentations and other media for Firmwide use Collaborate with the New York business development/marketing teams to design event collateral (invitations, signage, seminar materials, etc.), to help create a consistent event experience Help to brainstorm, design, implement and analyze A/B tests for our email marketing efforts Help maintain the branding style guide and Firms templates Help manage the digital asset management library and licensing Develop working relationships with existing vendors to deliver quality products and troubleshoot as needed Assist with special requests through the Document Services team Other projects as assigned Qualifications & Requirements QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS A B.A. or B.F.A. in graphic design or related field, with coursework in marketing/communications a plus 3-5 years of agency or in-house experience Thorough understanding of composition, balance, typography and color theory Working knowledge of UX/UI principles and best practices Excellent client service orientation with strong verbal and written communication skills Ability to meet tight deadlines while juggling multiple projects Strict attention to detail ? proofreading/editing skills required Experience preparing print materials for press with knowledge of image quality and resolution, and color profiles Strong portfolio that illustrates the ability to deliver designs from concept to completion Technologies/Software Highly proficient in Adobe CC (specifically Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator) and not shy about translating designs into PowerPoint for our general users Experience working in an email marketing platform Comfortable in a Windows environment Working knowledge of HTML/CSS and responsive design Experience with audio and video editing, and digital asset management are desirable but not required 15 hours ago - save job
