We are The Ryan Law Group, a full-service Personal Injury law firm located in Manhattan Beach, CA. We are looking for a full-time Case Manager with 1+ year(s) of experience working at a Personal Injury law firm to join our growing team! Our office is located right at the intersection of Highland and Rosecrans in Manhattan Beach, with a beautiful view of the beach right from our windows. The Strand and the sand are just a two-minute walk away and offer a great way to spend your lunch break! Responsibilities: Responsibilities (not limited to): • Manage 50+ cases/clients in pre-litigation at once. • Obtain documents required from new clients. • Open claims with insurance companies when necessary. • Create and send LORs (letters of representation) to insurance companies. • Request and follow-up with medical records from client treatment facilities. • Provide clients' case status updates when necessary. • Organize and maintain case files. • Draft settlement demand letters to insurance companies. • Negotiate settlements with insurance companies. • Account for all unpaid and paid invoices and expenses, before closing out files. • Prepare checks, letters, and records costs in Casepeer when distributing checks. Qualifications: Requirements: • Must be able to commute to and work in person at our office in Manhattan Beach between 8-4:30, 8:30-5, or 9-5:30. • Close attention to detail. • Organized. • Strong communication skills. • Outgoing personality, people person. • Able to multitask. • Good follow-up and follow-through with tasks. • Team player. Education and/or Experience: • At least 1 year of case management experience at another PI firm. • Bachelor’s Degree from a 4-year university. • Spanish speaker is a plus, but not required. Compensation: $25 - $35 hourly
