We are The Ryan Law Group, a full-service Personal Injury law firm located in Manhattan Beach, CA. We are looking for a full-time certified Paralegal to join our growing team! Our office is located right at the intersection of Highland and Rosecrans in Manhattan Beach, with a beautiful view of the beach right from our windows. The Strand and the sand are just a two-minute walk away and offer a great way to spend your lunch break! Responsibilities: As a Paralegal at our Firm, your responsibilities will include (but may not be limited to): • Provide legal support to two attorneys. • Calendars hearings, trials, depositions, and appointments, in Casepeer (our Case Management software). • Assist counsel in preparing discovery responses, discovery shells, and compiling documentation and information for discovery requests. • Complete electronic court filings at a state level. • Set up and close legal cases, prepare subpoenas, and arrange court reporters for depositions. • Draft court documents, invoices, and enclosures per attorneys' requests. • Serve as the main point of contact for clients in litigation. Qualifications: Requirements: • Must be able to commute to and work in-person at our office in Manhattan Beach between 8:30-5, or 9-5:30. • Close attention to detail. • Organized. • Strong communication skills. • Outgoing personality, people person. • Able to multitask. • Good follow-up and follow-through with tasks. • Team player. Education and/or Experience: • At least 2 years of paralegal experience at another PI firm (Legal assistant experience will apply if the candidate holds a paralegal certificate). • Bachelor’s Degree from a 4-year university. • Spanish speaker is a plus, but not required. Compensation: $35 - $40 hourly
