Wilson Elser's NYC Downtown office located at 125 Broad Street currently seeks a Junior Accountant to join the team.

THE POSITION

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance required
• Experience working in law firm or similar environment a plus
• Proficient in Excel
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Outstanding attention to detail
• Ability to learn new software applications easily
• Ability to work independently and follow through on tasks in a timely manner
• Ability to interact with all levels of firm employees

Responsibilities

• Submit Month End reports for processing
• Reconcile Regional & Escrow Bank Accounts
• Responsible for uploading all Financial Systems generated reports into the Firm’s Intranet site
• Prepare & post Journal Entries
• Work on special projects as assigned
