The Storage Squad Crew Leader's roles and responsibilities are in the fields of Operations and Logistics. We hire motivated self-starters who are flexible and can succeed in a fast paced startup environment.

The work schedule begins a few days before Final Exams and has flexible hours based on your prior obligations. You'd be working together with 15-30 of your fellow student peers to help us execute a successful pickup season in your local region.

This is a great way to gain experience with a startup company in the fields of entrepreneurship, supply chain, and logistics while making some extra money before summer starts. The position gives you the option to pursue other opportunities during the summer months and is a great addition to any resume. Many of our employees use this position to fill employment gaps at the beginning of summer (pick-ups) and again during the fall (redeliveries). It's fun, fast paced, rewarding, and allows you to meet a lot of students.

Lastly, we offer pay increases at the beginning of each season based off your performance in the previous year. 95% of our Squad Crew Leaders return for at least a second season.

Responsibilities: -Following pre routed pickup/delivery schedules -Interacting with customers -Building invoices -Delivering empty boxes and packing materials -Picking up completed orders -Loading/Unloading trucks -Locating orders in our warehouse -Prepping items for shipping via UPS Ground

The Storage Squad Crew Leader is a part-time position with full time commitment necessary during peak times in May** (student move-out) and August** (student move-in) including some weekends and evenings. Because of our seasonality our work schedules are brief but offer a ton of hours to interested parties (60+ hours per week if wanted) . Other opportunities may be pursued over the summer months!

Storage Squad provides student summer storage, moving, and shipping services to over 35 universities throughout the Midwest and Northeast. We prepare a workforce, warehouse, and the equipment necessary to service up to 1,500 customers at a given location and hire motivated individuals looking for valuable experience in a fun and fast paced startup environment.
