YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

The Summer 2019 Product Engineering Internship Program is for students enrolled in major fields of study that align with full-time employment opportunities at John Deere. Students may enter the program during undergraduate or graduate studies. The majority of our internship experiences are offered in the summer months, usually lasting 13 weeks. Potential duties could include:

• Specify designs, develop, test, and document major electrical, electromechanical, electrohydraulic functions/subsystems for equipment projects.
• Produce and evaluate possible design solutions to improve cost, quality and performance based on specialized knowledge of engineering applications together with possible involvement of other functional engineers, supply management and/or supplier personnel.
• Execute test or analysis plan for product verification and validation.

WHAT SKILLS YOU NEED

• Freshman, Sophomore, or Junior pursuing a Bachelors Degree or Senior pursuing a Masters Degree in Ag Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related degree.
• Desired cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale. Minimum cumulative GPA required of 2.8 on a 4.0 scale

LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION! We have internship locations across the United States so you must be willing to relocate domestically.
