Guinness Brand Spokesperson- Gulf States and South Atlantic
Job Description
The Guinness Brand Spokesperson a.k.a. Brewery Ambassador is responsible for delivering education to expand brand awareness for our portfolio of beer brands. Reporting to the Ambassador Supervisor, the Guinness Brewery Ambassador will develop trade relationships and interact face-to-face with the beer community across a designated territory.
THIS ROLE, PENDING SAFETY MEASURES AND TRAVEL RESTRICTIONS DUE TO COVID-19, MAY HAVE PERIODS OF TRAVEL, UP TO 50% THROUGHOUT THE YEAR.
Here’s a small sample of what you’ll be doing. NOTE, JOB RESPONSIBILITIES MAY SHIFT IN RESPONSE TO LOCAL/STATE ORDINANCES RELATED TO COVID-19.
TRADE EDUCATION. Impart brand history, production, taste profile, and bar operations knowledge to clients, distributors, trade, and consumers
FORMAL MEDIA TRAINING PREFERRED - Social Media; On Camera Presence; Video
BRAND REPRESENTATION. Represent brand(s) at local trade-focused events with education, mentorship, networking, and tastings
EDUCATION CONTENT DEVELOPMENT. Works with National Development Manager to develop industry-forward educational content to share with internal (agency & client) and external (trade & distributor) audiences as needed
BRAND ADVOCACY. As an industry influencer, proactively seek out new opportunities for our brands to appear authentically within the territory
CULTIVATE OPPORTUNITIES. As an industry influencer, seek out opportunities within the territory for brand engagement with noted members of industry trade
·SOCIAL MEDIA PRESENCE. Utilize social platforms to amplify brand initiatives and showcase portfolio expertise
TRADE ENGAGEMENT. Drive brand presence, performance, and advocacy in select on-premise accounts using strategic engagement activities and business-focused solutions
AGENCY MENTORSHIP. Mentor local agency Beer Sales Representatives on brand knowledge and best practices, while instilling and developing a passion for the beer industry
AGENCY ACCOUNTABILITIES. Complete accurate and timely management of agency initiatives including:
o Budget and expense management
o All reporting responsibilities
o Tracking and management of performance data using agency-appointed platforms
o Participation in all internal training initiatives
o Point of sale, asset, and warehouse management
o Brand, market, competitive and customer insight curation
o Media training, as scheduled by agency HQ
LEGAL AND COMPLIANCE ACCOUNTABILITY. Maintain all legal and marketing code guidelines

Additional Information
The base compensation range for this job classification is between $80,000 and $99,000. The determination of what a specific employee in this job classification is paid depends on a number of factors, including, but not limited to, prior employment history/job-related skills and qualifications, length of service and geographic location. This job classification is bonus-eligible, with bonus potential subject to applicable bonus plan terms and conditions.
