    Job Description

    OBJECTIVE

    Craft interesting, well-researched, content to drive traffic, engage and convert target customers, and improve shared content across social media channels; content to include white papers, blog posts, website copy, social media content (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, etc…), case studies, webinars, videos, presentations, award applications, and other content as needed.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Serve as an exemplary writer and produce clean, concise, and well-polished copy consistent with Inspira’s tone and mission.
    •  Lead research to drive thought leadership that fuels white papers, webinars, press, awareness, and a reputation of Inspira as a thought leader and information resource.
    • Seek out third-party research and insights to drive insights and content ideas in accordance with content and sales strategies.
    •  Develop a monthly content calendar and social content calendar. 
    • Create and post social content to promote Inspira’s thought leadership, work, and culture.
    • Produce weekly Inspira newsletter, report results, iterate as needed.
    • Responsible for day-to-day Inspira website updates (case studies, employee updates, image updates, and content posting).
    • Optimize content for search in accordance with SEO best practices.
    • Work with new business to develop content strategies and materials to support the sales cycle (case studies, sales letters, pitch deck copy, etc..). 
    • Keep up with current industry trends and topics to ensure effective communications
    •  Copy edit and proofread content for messaging, style guidelines, brand consistency, and voice; provide education and guidance to ensure high quality writing for all Inspira communications.
    •  Coordinate with internal stakeholders, external thought leaders, and other third parties to produce high quality content
    • Build and track benchmarks for measuring success and ROI.
    • Implement new tools and processes for effective creation and measurement of content.
    • Maintains video content library.
    • Optimize delivery strategy for each content piece, by implementing best practices, and repeatedly test various tools, content formats, and distribution channels with various target audience segments.
    • Ability to use PowerPoint to design and layout visually appealing case studies.
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • 5+ years of experience in editorial content development for a digital publisher, consumer brand, or marketing/communications agency.
    • Business savvy – must understand today’s marketing environment, trends, and tactics. Must have an understanding of the marketing challenges facing brands today and the ability to develop an agency POV on how our suite of services can solve them.
    • Highly engaging storyteller. Ability to tell an integrated story about the marketing landscape and our work through the lens of the client, potential clients, and the agency.
    • Collaborative team player who can work independently with minimal supervision.
    • Ability to work in fast-paced team environment.
    • Flexibility to accommodate demanding projects schedules and competing priorities.
    • Motivated self-starter, process-oriented with high attention to detail.
    • Experience with HubSpot, WordPress, and Vimeo.
    • Experience with social media strategy and content creation. 
    • Degree in journalism, communications, marketing or related strongly preferred. 
    • Expertise in AP style and strong proofreading skills.
