SUMMARY From corporate headquarters, provide administrative support for the international, NVOCC/ocean freight corporate operations, ocean BUS operations and agent/customer service operations.Assist the Supervisor and Coordinators, International Operations, NVOCC manage the business in accordance with company policies and procedures. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESinclude the following. Other duties may be assigned. For new international NVOCC agents execute the systems set up of new customers and vendors For new ocean BUS shipments execute the systems set up of new customer and vendors Support the international, NVOCC staff by finalizing shipment files between ForwarderLogic and the AS400 platform Produce revenue and volume reports for management Produce reports on purchased transportation to assist management with carrier pricing negotiations Produce corporately required reports concerning weekly shipment accounting exceptions Back up Ocean BUS staff with telephone coverage Back up Ocean BUS staff by providing freight rate quotation assistance in contacting service providers SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES This position has no supervisory responsibilities QUALIFICATIONSTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
