  • Responsibilities

    A Day in Your Life at MKS:

    As an Associate Internal Auditor at MKS Internal Audit, you will partner with the sox team to provide value-add internal audit services to help MKS management to achieve its goals and objectives . In this role, you will report to the Internal Audit Manager.

    You Will Make an Impact By:

    • Working with IA team member to prepare PBC requests to process owners

    • Make sample selections to ensure the completeness of test documents

    • Help with scheduling inter

    • nal and external meetings to perform walkthroughs, discussion with process owners, collaboration with external auditors, etc.

    • Perform SOX control testing, and prepare test documents and draft test results

    • Assist with IA team member in power point presentation

    • Assist with data analysis using Microsoft tools such as Excel, Visio etc.

    • Perform other adhoc projects as needs arise

    • Travel Requirements: No travel is required

    Skills You Bring:

    • Enrolled in Bachelor’s Degree program in Accounting, Finance or relevant majors

    • Experience with Microsoft Office 360 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

    • Excellent communication skills to manage relationships with different stakeholders (Internal Audit, Management, External Auditors)

    • Superb organization skills to prioritize multiple tasks and working with people from different time zones

    • Oracle or SAP skills is desirabl

    Preferred Skills:

    • Accounting Knowledge (Expected to have taking basic accounting courses in College, or have equivalent knowledge)

    • IT System Knowledge (Basic understanding of how ERP system work to support accounting activities)

    • SEC requirements (Basic understanding of a US public traded company’s compliance requirements)

    • US GAAP knowledge desirable

    Compensation and Benefits:

    Hourly Pay Range: $23.00 to $25.00 per hour. This range is a good faith estimate of the expected salary range for this position, based on a wide range of factors including qualifications, experience and training, operational and business needs and other considerations permitted by law. At MKS, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for the role.

    Benefits: MKS offers a benefits package for interns/co-ops working at least 20 hours per week, including 11 paid holidays, sick time, and 15 paid vacation days accrued on a biweekly basis

    The application period for the intern/co-op position is estimated to be through the end of March 2025; however, this may be shortened or extended depending on business needs and the availability of qualified candidate
