  • Responsibilities

    A Day in Your Life at MKS:

    As an Assistant Project Manager at MKS Instruments, you will partner with IT to provide assistance in ongoing projects. In this role, you will report to the VP, office of the CIO.

    You Will Make an Impact By:

    • Work at the direction of more senior project and portfolio managers to provide hands on assistance with:
    • Defining project schedule, scope and budget
    • Tracking project attributes in compliance with governance timeframes
    • Leveraging MKS IT tools and processes for project attribute tracking
    • Provide issue resolution support by assisting in root cause analysis, documenting remediation options including tradeoffs and helping communicate decisions
    • Understand budget management processes and tools providing assistance with macros budget management and reporting
    • May be given accountability of a small project to drive independently

    Skills you bring:

    • Enrolled in a Bachelor’s Degree program in information technology, business administration, or related field, and be in your third or fourth year of studies.
    • 2+ years of experience in IT project management, project coordination, or related field.
    • MS Office skills
    • This is a hybrid position. Candidates must live within a commutable distance to Andover, MA. Unfortunately, relocation assistance will not be provided.
