    A Day in Your Life at MKS:

    As an Operations Planner Intern at MKS in Irvine, you will partner with internal teams to develop production plans and support manufacturing operations. In this role, you will report to the Materials Manager.

    Principal Responsibilities:

    • Analyzing supply and demand data
    • Assisting in the development of production plans to meet customer demand
    • Interfacing with manufacturing regarding implementation/execution of production plans
    • Interfacing with Global Supply Chain and Procurement regarding component supply
    • Assessing schedule risk and implementing risk-reduction counter-measures
    • Assessing constraints to schedule attainment and implementing strategies to maximize demand fulfilment

    Skills You Bring:

    • Enrolled in a Bachelor’s Degree program in Supply Chain, Manufacturing/Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or other relevant majors
    • Strong Microsoft Suite skills, especially in Excel
    • Good attention to detail
    • Excellent communication skills to interface with internal teams
    • An aptitude for problem solving
