Qualifications
Requires a thorough knowledge of equipment set up, adjustment, operating procedures, and a corresponding level of skill to set up, operate, and adjust the equipment
Able to set up, operate, and adjust the equipment, and in addition, diagnose, solve, and correct operating problems affecting the quality and timeliness of the service or product or function
May instruct junior level operators how to complete the required corrective adjustment
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, standard operating procedures and other related documents and procedure manuals.
Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively with internal and external customers.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Ability to contribute positively to a team environment.
Ability to understand basic liquid storage/flow concepts (pipe fittings, water flow, on/off valves, etc.). Must be detailed. Able to lift up to 60lbs which includes bags and barrels.
Must be self-motivated.
Previous Batch Chemical Operators and/or coating experience in manufacturing environment preferred, but not required
Additional Information
The pay range for this role at the noted location is $18.69 to $26.78 per hour. The actual rate of pay offered may vary based upon, but not limited to: education, skills, experience, proficiency, performance, shift, and location. In addition to base salary, depending on the role, overtime, shift differential, call-in, and stand-by pay.
