Warehouser-2nd Shift EPS Division Airlite Plastics - Omaha, NE SUMMARY:
A warehouser, receives, stores, loads and distributes manufactured
products at the Foam Building and other warehouse storage areas. The
position is to perform the following duties. ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES &
RESPONSIBILITIES: * Operates forklifts and power lifting equipment as
needed to remove skids and product to staging or storage areas. Inspect
the power equipment before operating and record the findings on the
Safety Inspection Card. Maintains safe operation of the equipment.
Reports non-working or unsafe conditions to Assistant Shipping
Supervisor, Production Manager, or Plant Manager. * Inspects orders to
be loaded for accuracy and quality of product. Processes necessary
paper-work to close-out orders. * Loads and unloads trucks at any
warehouse location used by Airlite, including customer deliveries. *
Operates computers and scanners to record product being stored, moved or
shipped. * Ensures proper marking is on boxes, bundles and labels. *
Ensures quality by visually inspecting products produced before storing
or shipping. If products are defective or damaged, the Warehouser will
advise the Shift Supervisor, QA person immediately. May need to replace
the damaged product and repackage (with stretch-wrap) the product before
shipping to the customer. * Records daily shift activities, both
internal and external, by the number of Touches performed per shift. *
Must inspect trailers prior to loading or off-loading, to ensure that
the rear wheels of the trailer are chalked, that all trailers backed
into a door are always chalked until load is picked up for safety
reasons. * Responsible for safe house-keeping and cleanliness in the
warehouse and back yard. * Responsible for reporting food safety
problems to management. * Maintains attendance company standards. *
Works weekends as required to meet customer requirements and company
priorities. * Other duties as assigned. * QUALIFICATIONS: * Reasonable

education degree (GED); * Or one to three months related experience
and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES REQUIRED: * Ability to read and
interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance
instructions and procedure manuals. * Ability to apply common sense
understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral
instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete
variables in standardized situations. * Forklift & power lifting
equipment certificate is required. Training supplied by Airlites Safety
Department. * Ability to add subtract two digit numbers and to multiply
and divide with 10s and 100s. Be able to operate Airlites computer
equipment, including a warehouse management system for inventory
