As an Associate Calibration/Validation Engineer, you will facilitate embedded product software and calibration releases for Vehicle Electronic Programming Stations. Additionally, you will focus on developing management systems for electronic data content. You will also coordinate product feature configurations. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: -nbsp; Facilitate software and calibration releases for Vehicle Electronic Programming Stations (VEPS). -nbsp; Lead release content and implement product development processes supporting large product development teams. -nbsp; Plan, coordinate and conduct custom computer application integration. -nbsp; Develop engineering business computer system requirements supporting vehicle integration functional and performance goals. -nbsp; Develop and validate control system and vehicle integration concepts, mechanizations, and control logic. -nbsp; Develop software supporting electronic integration tools. -nbsp; Validate computer system and integration performance compliance to specifications/requirements. -nbsp; Document and present technical and program materials internally and to customers. -nbsp; Other duties as assigned. EDUCATION REQUIRED: Bachelor's degree in Engineering with focus on Computer Systems, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering or equivalent experience REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES: -nbsp; 0-3 years of engineering experience in a related field - Engineering degree will be considered in lieu of work experience -nbsp; Proficiency in written and spoken business communication skills -nbsp; Experience and/or training in either design, application or maintenance of product systems -nbsp; Proficient in computer programming, systems, and data management PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES: -nbsp; Knowledge and experience in Embedded systems development and calibration -nbsp; Experience in vehicle and test cell calibration and validation testing -nbsp; Experience in Control System engineering and/or test, including experience with real-time embedded electronic control systems -nbsp; Ability to read C++ code -nbsp; Ability to develop Microsoft Excel spreadsheets and macros -nbsp; Data Link SW/Cal experience -nbsp; Systems and vehicle integration engineering experience -nbsp; Experience with MATLAB / Simulink -nbsp; WEB development experience -nbsp; Ability to obtain Commercial Driver's License EQUAL OPPORTUNITY STATEMENT: Allison Transmission is an equal opportunity employer.
