    POSITION DESCRIPTION

    This position is responsible for providing administrative and functional support in various areas of Human Resources including but not limited to recruitment, employment and staffing, personnel records maintenance, training and development, EEO/AAP administration, and special projects.

    Position requires frequent contact with personnel inside and outside the company requiring reasonable tact, discretion, self-expression, and a working knowledge of policies, and procedures. 

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

    • Implements human resources services, including talent acquisition, staffing, employment processing, health and welfare benefits, training and development, records management and employee relations.
    • Administers various human resource plans and procedures for all organization personnel.
    • Protects the organization’s value by keeping information confidential.
    • Enhances department and organizational reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests.
    • Performs initial screening/review of resumes and applications. Maintains applicant flow log. Contacts applicants to schedule interviews.
    • Assists with benefits administration, including claims resolution, change reporting, approving invoices for payment and communicating benefits information to employees.
    • Takes an active role in understanding the business and employee issues company wide.
    • Assist with administration of the company’s worker’s compensation and wellness programs.
    • Delivers a high level of service to ensure customer satisfaction.
    • Maintains personnel files for active and terminated employees in compliance with applicable legal requirements and department record retention procedures.

     

    Annual Salary Range $55,000 - $70,000

    Required Experience

    EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

    • Associate's degree required
    • BA/BS, Business Administration or Human Resource Management preferred.
    • 1 year hands on HR administrative experience highly desired.
    • Must have general knowledge of various employment laws and practices.
    • PHR/ SHRM-CP preferred.
    • Direct experience using a web-based recruitment and applicant tracking system or HRIS preferred.
