    About This Role

    As the MSP Engagement Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring our strategic managed service providers are performing to, and operating in compliance with, the terms and conditions of our contractual agreements. The Manager will lead the governance activities, which include contract, performance, and financial management, across a portfolio of contracted work. The MSP Engagement Manager partners closely with the service coordinators, varying levels of IT leadership, vendor liaisons, contracts specialists, and internal legal advisors to ensure the successful delivery of the contracted services and/or products to meet our business objectives.

    What You’ll Do

    • Align the managed services strategy across the portfolio
    • Establish an effective partnership between Biogen and MSPs for specific contracted engagements
    • Implement and continuously improve governance forums and processes
    • Provide leadership for the service delivery function
    • Support MSP operational processes and procedures throughout the IT landscape
    • Identify, execute, and communicate all necessary contract changes related to specific engagements to the appropriate stakeholders
    • Act as the subject matter expert and primary point of contact for all issues and changes related to specific MSP contracts
    • Foster and maintain a successful partnership as the primary contact with the partner's account partner
    • Serve as an escalation point for risks and issues requiring support from MSP Service Managers

    Who You Are

    You are passionate about IT operations and continuous improvement, demonstrating strong communication and project management skills to effectively handle multiple stakeholders and prioritize competing demands. You possess expertise in contract management, financial management, and performance management, particularly in collaborating with managed service providers.

    • Bachelor’s degree
    • 10+ years in IT Operations, Partner Management, and/or IT Service Delivery
    • Collaborative and team-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently and take ownership of initiatives
    • Performance (SLA) Management experience
    • Financial Management and Forecasting experience
    • IT Performance Reporting and Analysis experience
    • Program Governance experience
    • Technology Service Management experience

    Preferred Skills

    • Application Support
    • ServiceNow experience
