ABOUT THIS ROLE The Talent Acquisition Candidate Care Coordinator supports the Talent Acquisition team across all areas of recruitment and internal staffing. This person will report into the Manager of the Candidate Care team and will be a member of the Talent Acquisition team. This individual will work closely with multiple recruiters and provide high-level support for the talent acquisition process at Biogen. As such, this person will play an instrumental role in assisting the recruiters in meeting robust hiring goals for their client groups.
This role is a remote-based role WHAT YOU’LL DO Responsibilities include: • Arrange pre-screening and virtual or face to face interview arrangements and logistics between candidates and recruiters, managers, and interview teams. • Assist the recruiter with tracking candidates throughout the life cycle of the hiring process by maintaining candidate status within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) • Monitor and adjudicate Pre-Employment Screening for all finalist candidates • Process candidate expenses and ensuring compliance to travel guidelines • Send onboarding email to new hires and act as point of contact until first day of employment • Assist with talent attraction projects such as university relations, sourcing and recruitment marketing initiatives The RS Coordinator will establish relationships with the following stakeholders: • Recruiting Partner – to ensure close collaboration throughout the entire recruitment process; point of escalation for issues • Hiring Managers and interview teams – to support all interview scheduling needs and ensuring managers and other interviewers are aware of scheduled interviews and any related changes and logistics • Candidates – to support their candidate experience throughout the process in a highly professional manner; and • Department Administrative Assistants – to engage them to assist with interview scheduling logistics and hand offs
Qualifications
WHO YOU ARE You have a customer service mindset and a keen attention to detail. You thrive working in a fast paced, dynamic environment. • 2 or more years of experience in a customer service-oriented role preferably a scheduling/Coordinator role and/or experience in either Talent Acquisition or HR • High proficiency in MS Office specifically Outlook, Word and Excel • Working knowledge of ATS and background check systems i.e. HireRight preferred • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal required • Demonstrated track record of being proactive to solve problems • Demonstrated ability to be empathetic; specifically, as it relates to the candidate experience • Bachelor’s degree required
