    Job Description

    ABOUT THIS ROLE  

    The Global Security Operations Center (GSOC) Analyst supports Biogen Global Security Management and other business function leaders. Executes the various core functions of the GSOC to include, but not limited to; Incident Recognition/Escalation, Intelligence Analysis, Emergency Response, Supply Chain Security, Travel Security and Physical Security. Analysts act as partners who work closely with teams across the security organization and the wider business to understand information requirements, deliver timely analysis, and present key insights to internal stakeholders. Analysts will also assist in the development and evolution of GSOC core processes, leveraged technologies, and contract analyst roles within the GSOC. THIS ANALYST ROLE IS AN OVERNIGHT POSITION WITH POTENTIAL TO CHANGE SCHEDULES AS OPPORTUNITIES BECOME AVAILABLE.  WORK SCHEDULE:  SUNDAY, MONDAY, TUESDAY 6PM-6AM; WEDNESDAY 6PM-12AM.

    WHAT YOU’LL DO  

    • Perform duties of the GSOC that includes intelligence monitoring/escalation and alarm monitoring
    • Serve as the lead analyst for assigned post and support development of contract analysts
    • Lead development of global risk and intelligence products
    • Assist continuous improvement of the GSOC through procedural and process refinement
    • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to meet organizational and operational goals

    EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

    • Bachelor’s Degree or higher (preferably in a relevant course of study)
    • 1+ years of experience in intelligence, corporate, government, military and/or security experience is preferred

    PREFERRED SKILLS  

    • Ability to communicate at an executive level, both written and verbally
    • Can make decisions, multi-task, and operate within high stress situations, often under time constraints
    • Self-motivated, highly responsive, and proactive, able to own tasks/projects from start to finish
    • Ability to analyze and think critically, sometimes under ambiguous circumstances
    • Ability to create and follow written policy/procedures
    • Solid technology knowledge and skills; experience working with complex platforms
    • Working knowledge of current global events, with ability to understand risk/impact to business
    • Equally comfortable working independently or collaboratively
    • Willingness to be flexible 24/7/365
