    Job Description

    RELOCATION ASSISTANCE TO TAMPA, FL

    Responsible for the administrative and technical supervision of a team of 7-10 Process Engineers and an Engineering Technician for our EB-PVD Coating, Electro Plating, Diffusion Coating, and future coating processes. Accountable for task execution by the team, adherence to schedule, team capacity assessment and planning, and development/coaching of team members.

    Job Duties:

    • Lead implementation of new design engineering products/processes into the operational environment that effectively drive improvements in business metrics.

    • Coordinate manpower and other project requirements to ensure project completion within time and under budget

    • Lead NPI developments and production processes / yield improvement and rework reduction projects to full production capability

    • Provide planning leadership by setting project priorities for the team, based upon company goals, anticipated industry trends, and emerging technology.

    • Participate in technical discussions with key customers and related program office ensuring products/processes developed meet the needs of our product plans and customers

    • Use Management Operating System tools to monitor team productivity, quality and cost-effective work

    • Partner with manufacturing operations at the site ensuring effective implementation of assigned projects

    • Provide accurate reports/presentations to management pertaining to impact of all projects.

    • Continually review and improve all design engineering processes

    • Promote Operational Excellence through utilization of a robust problem-solving methodology, CPEX tools

    • Ensure compliance with Company IPM/QPM and ISO-9000 quality requirements.

  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent experience
    • Detailed knowledge of gas turbine design, manufacturing, or repair processes
    • Previous experience with coating processes such as EB-PVD, Electroplating and Platinum Aluminide
    • Previous experience with GD&T, CAD Siemens Nx, Creo, Minitab
    • Experience leading teams
    • Experience developing and monitoring project budgets, resource needs, and timelines
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office software including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project
