Note Employer will not sponsor visas for position Job Summary An Occupational Health Nurse at CITGO Petroleum Corporationrsquo;s Lake Charles Manufacturing Complex will be responsible for performing functions to maintain CITGOrsquo;s health services compliance and guide companyrsquo;s efforts to excel in health services for the nationrsquo;s 6th largest refinery. nbsp;This position requires keeping abreast of new, emerging and changing health and welfare regulations to determine any impact on the operation of the Lake Charles Manufacturing Complex. nbsp; nbsp; Duties Include: * Provide quality occupational and medical health care and provide support for improving the health CITGO employees * Maintain confidentiality of all medical records and employee health informationnbsp; * Perform case management of injured and ill employees.nbsp; Ascertain the fitness on an employee to safely perform job duties.nbsp; * Provide medical consultations, counseling, referrals and employee educationnbsp; * Maintain compliance and perform exams and testing required for OSHA mandated medical surveillance * Perform drug and alcohol screening * Maintain the medical portion of the CITGO Health Record Management (Medgate) electronic documentation system * On call support for after hour occurrences Minimum Qualifications * Registered Nurse; bachelor's degree in Nursing * 1 ndash; 2 years hospital clinic experience * State RN licensure for Louisiana * Experience in medical/surgical, ER and/or ICU, preferred * Venipuncture skillsnbsp; * Certification in audiometric and pulmonary testing, preferred * Ability to perform 12 lead ECGnbsp; * Basic Word and Excel computer skills * Physical assessment skills * Knowledge of OSHA regulations for Blood Borne Pathogens * Valid driver's licensenbsp; ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS: * The Maritime Transportation Security Act requires all persons who will need unescorted access to a regulated facility to have a valid Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC), issued in accordance with the rules established by the United States Coast Guard and the Transportation Security Administration.
