  • Responsibilities

    Job Summary

    • Commercial Credit: Comprised of Specialty Ceilings, SAGE Glass, Vetrotech and SBM’s commercial customer portfolio:
      • Manage and oversee the credit, collections, and order release process for the entire commercial portfolio under the leadership of the Commercial Credit COE & Operations Manager . Review financial statements, credit reports and open orders to determine credit worthiness of customers, file mechanics liens and releases, pre-liens and follow up with Owners and General Contractors for payment, as necessary. Work closely with the Business Units to develop and improve business processes and controls and minimize risk while adhering to shipment schedules.
    • Intercompany Receivables:
      • Handle the collections of Inter-Company A/R within the GetPaid system for CertainTeed and Saint-Gobain businesses whose Credit & Collections are managed by the Credit Services team in Malvern.
      • Follow up on skipped invoices, send statements and invoice copies as needed, and assist in dispute resolution.

    Additional Description

    • 4-5 years’ experience in credit management, preferably in the construction industry
    • A bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or business is required, an MBA, CPA, or professional credit certification is preferred
    • Financial statement analysis experience is required
    • Understanding of finance, internal control processes, construction lien rights and bond claims, bankruptcy knowledge, creditor rights, and A/R and related reserves accounting
    • Strong financial analysis skills are required
    • SAP knowledge is required; QAD & GetPaid experience are strongly preferred
    • Canadian French fluency is strongly preferred
    • Expert knowledge of MS Excel; strong knowledge of other MS Office applications
