  • Responsibilities

    As the CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE with LIBERTY PACKAGING SAN DIEGO,  you will interface with customers to gather order information and specifications. Input customer orders into the companies ERP system.  Monitor, track and adjust order dates based on production schedules and customer requests.  Ensure inventory levels are aligned with customers forecasted needs based on inventory volume and production schedules.

    This full-time position reports directly to the CUSTOMER SERVICE MANAGER and is located at Liberty Packaging’s manufacturing plant in Poway, California.

    Required Skills

    IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL:

    • Provide customers with timely and accurate responses to their inquiries.  Provide Sales Representative with order updates and communicate potential delays in production.
    • Respond to customer inquiries via phone, fax, email
    • Resolve customer issues by working with internal and external customers
    • Communicate with customers or sales representative’s production delays which may result in late shipments
    • Research and review any order issues and provide input on steps taken for problem resolution
    • Record all necessary changes to customer orders and/or due dates in the ERP system
    • Receive and process customer orders
    • Verify pricing and enter orders and estimates based on customer needs including any special instructions or requests
    • Interpret and input material and production specifications
    • Monitor production schedule to ensure delivery dates are met
    • Ensure all order documentation is in compliance with company’s policies, procedures, and quality standards
    • Maintain customer records including contact and pricing information
    • Review customer inventory levels, order information and production schedule to ensure appropriate levels are being met
    • Manage blanket purchase orders
    • Update and adjust orders based on customer feedback to meet the required inventory levels

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • HSD/GED
    • 2+ Years’ experience in customer service preferably in a manufacturing environment
    • Basic knowledge of ERP Systems
    • Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills and the ability to comprehend and communicate at multiple levels within and outside the organization.
    • Proficient in all standard desktop software tools such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
    • Bi-Lingual strongly preferred
