Control Systems Engineer
Location: Indianapolis, Indiana

We are looking for talented and passionate engineers who are at the beginning of their career and are interested in gaining experience in System engineering in a progressive and developmental environment. You will join an engaged, multi-disciplinary team of engineers who can help you understand the Controls System landscape and gain exposure across all its many dimensions. Who we are:
In this role, you will be based in the Electrical, Electronics, Software, Control System Design, and System Security (E24S) capability group. This group is part of the Rolls-Royce Engineering, Technology and Safety, the central home for engineering skills in the Rolls-Royce group.
The E24S group is made of a diverse group of engineering areas covering Software (traditional and model-base), Systems, Electronics, Electrical Power, and System Security. We work closely together in the design, integration, testing, in-service support, and supply chain management to ensure our customer’s needs are met.
What you'll do:
Control System Engineers work on a wide variety of projects to support Rolls-Royce’s diverse customer base. Engineers are responsible in areas including, but not limited to requirement development, system design, integration, and test.
As a Control Systems Engineer, you will be designing and developing power and propulsion systems, while working on a cross functional agile team under the direction of a senior engineer. Opportunities in this role include but are not limited to developing system requirements with internal and external customers, solving platform integration issues, creating digital models, verifying models and hardware on real-time simulators, and integrating and testing controls systems on real engines.

Educated to degree level in a STEM subject, including Systems Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Electrical & Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or Computer Science
Standing/Graduation Eligibility:
You will receive your degree between May 2024 and August 2025.

Pay Range
$73,437 - $83,594-Annually
