Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Chemical, Environmental Engineering / Science or related field preferred.
- Up to 3 years of EHS experience with progressive work assignments. Minimum experience of least one EHS related internship/co-op.
- Advanced professional EHS certification (OHST, ASP, CSP) desired, or a commitment to pursue certification.
- Capable of being an active member of Site HazMat and First Aid Team.
- Working knowledge of regulatory requirements and EHS policies, procedures and programs.
- Experience in life safety codes, EHS rules, HAZOP, training, principles of occupational safety and health, and Industrial hygiene.
- Strong Project/Problem Resolution skills.
- Mastery of applicable computer systems, such as Google and function specific software.
- Strategic thinking with strong leadership skills and good interpersonal communications.
- McKinney coaching, facilitating and training skills.
- Construction safety experience preferred.
- Knowledge of flammable liquid standards; hazards; and controls preferred.
