We are targeting students completing their sophomore or junior year of college who are interested in working in a dynamic and engaging work environment to participate in our internship program. Elkay interns will apply the skills and knowledge developed in college while contributing to exciting real world projects! The Manufacturing Graduate Trainee will assist the Senior Engineer with various projects to support Elkays engineering, material, and production team by performing the following duties: * Conduct pre-work projects to prepare for ERP system implementation * Complete continuous improvement projects * Analyze production strategies (cutting, inventory holding, etc.) and suggest alternatives * Conduct Methods Engineering/Analysis to determine production flow issues and improvements Qualifications: * Students completing their sophomore or junior year working toward a Bachelors Degree in (Insert Appropriate Major (s)) or related field required. * (Insert Specific Position Requirements). * Ability to work collaboratively and/or independently in a dynamic environment. * Excellent verbal and written communication skills. * Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. * Microsoft Office proficiency (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint). * (Insert Specific Technology Requirements or Special Skills). * Minimum GPA: 3.0. * Ability to work 40 hours per week.
