Executive Assistant to Chief of Sales and Marketing - Designate
Job Description
We are seeking an Executive Assistant (EA) for the Chief of Sales and Marketing - Designate, of Western Digital.
Reporting to the Chief of Sales and Marketing, you will partner closely with the Chief of Sales and Marketing and site team to execute his office. In this role, you will be trusted to work with the highest level of confidentiality, understanding the needs of an executive while carefully balancing relationship-building across the business. You will need to be organized and innovative, while thriving in a fast-paced environment. A can-do attitude and willingness to roll up your sleeves to execute effectively and efficiently are essential.
In addition to supporting the Chief of Sales and Marketing, you will also serve as the Irvine Site administrator, acting as the primary point of contact for the Irvine Sales and Marketing office. You will be responsible for assisting employees with requests for facilities, IT, and overall knowledge of how the Irvine office operates. This role requires frequent interaction with the site's employees and the ability to be proactive in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations. You will play an essential role in helping create a positive and happy workplace, leading culture initiatives that foster a collaborative and engaging environment for all employees.
Additionally, you will liaise with the other admins of the Executive Leadership Team (ELT) to support the leadership and execution of a large company. The ability to work alone or as part of a team is vital.
You will need the ability to ensure the Chief of Sales and Marketing office is easy to work with and approachable, while balancing competing priorities and ensuring the utmost level of professionalism. Written and verbal communication skills, taking initiative, and attention to detail are imperatives-along with having a sense of humor!

Constant presence at Western Digital’s Irvine office is required, and the role may include infrequent domestic travel.
