    The Role

    The incumbent is responsible for operating various machinery and equipment in a PVC extrusion manufacturing facility in Holly Springs, MS . He/She will be responsible for operating an extrusion line as assigned by the production supervisor. The incumbent should possess effective communication skills and a thorough understanding of their assigned job role operations and its complexities.

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

    • Compliance with all Environmental, Safety, and Health policies, procedures, and programs
    • Participation and completion of required EH&S training
    • Must work in a manner that is safe while continuously ensuring quality, production, and performance expectations are met
    • Correctly obtain all required raw materials, supplies, labels, and packaging per product specification and assigned job role
    • Perform a visual inspection of job processes and verify they meet quality specifications set by the company
    • Conduct operations according to established quality and production standards and/or procedures for assigned job roles
    • Communication of production issues or concerns on shift
    • Achieve and maintain qualification in all production operator job roles as required
    • Maintaining a clean and orderly work area including a 5S system
    • Complete and maintain mobile equipment certifications

    WHAT ARE THE REQUIREMENTS?

    • High School Diploma/GED
    • 1-2 Years minimum Forklift Operating Experience
    • Current Forklift License preferred (willing to certify in-house)
    • Industrial Manufacturing Experience preferred / Computer Literacy
    • 1-year minimum of manufacturing experience and/or currently pursuing a manufacturing certification through a certified program
    • Good working knowledge of plant/Production policies, and procedures.
    • Good oral communication skills
    • Ability to multi-task in a demanding environment
    • Excellent Attendance Practices
    • Ability to deal calmly and effectively with high-stress situations, sensitivity to other’s needs and maintain a positive demeanor
    • Ability to lift/move/push/pull heavy objects up to 60lbs
