Your Role: As the Quality Engineer, youll be working with some of the industrys brightest minds to bring our vehicles to market. Quality is a top-priority at Faraday Future and you will support upstream and downstream Quality initiatives in engineering, the function that enables Quality through design execution and validation. Your Responsibilities : · Help building, developing and leading a Quality Department in our Hanford, CA location · Develop and execute best methods and procedures of Quality Assurance · Conduct feasibility assessment of new program Quality targets and manage their system-level cascade into the engineering organization · Lead cross-functional teams to drive plant level product, process and system improvements · Lead in-plant problem-solving teams, using data-driven Faraday Futures Quality Assurance methodologies to ensure issue resolution including root cause investigations and the development, implementation and monitoring of effective corrective and preventive actions · Ensure that Lessons Learned are captured to prevent issue re-occurrence · Support the development of PFMEAs and Control Plans · Help develop and implement plant quality performance metrics and glide-paths · Work closely with Manufacturing Engineering and Operations to ensure that processes and training methods are aligned with overall vehicle quality goals · Provide problem solving support to manufacturing and operations teams · Champion a culture of quality, continuous improvement and transparency across the entire organization · Develop and administer training for engineers in Design Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (DFMEA), Design Verification Plan (DVP), and Global Dimensioning and Tolerances (GD&T) · Prevent recurrence of Quality issues through development and sign-off of design rules or best practices · Coordinate Quality training for engineering community to ensure common understand of Quality strategy and critical KPIs Basic Qualifications: Bachelors of Science in Engineering is required 2+ years of experience working in automotive and/or manufacturing organizations Exceptional interpersonal skills to gain cross-functional buy-in on quality initiatives in an environment of conflicting priorities Solutions oriented, data driven nothing is impossible attitude Highly adaptable easily handling change in direction or focus Must be able to meet tight deadlines with multiple priorities and limited direction Proven hands-on problem-solving ability both as an individual contributor and as a member of a larger team Willingness and stamina for continuous professional development Preferred Qualifications: Proven expertise in leading quality organizations A creative curiosity, collaborative ethic, hardworking enthusiasm, and driving personal vision Excellent communication skills and team-working tendencies Comfortable working with ambiguity and change A penchant for multi-tasking and self-starting A genuine fascination with the future of mobility and a commitment to global change Perks + Benefits · Stock options for every employee · Healthcare + dental + vision benefits (Free for you/discounted for family) · 401(k) options · Engineering orientation + onboarding · Daily catered lunches onsite (nominal cost) · Healthy snacks + beverages 24/7 · Relocation assistance + reimbursement · Free parking + carpool reimbursement · Casual dress code + relaxed work environment · Culturally diverse, progressive atmosphere · Soul of Faraday community outreach team
