    Job Description:
    The Fire Alarm Technician is responsible for testing, repairing, and inspecting fire detection systems. The ideal candidate possesses a minimum of two years of experience in fire protection systems and holds a minimum Level II NICET certification (or can obtain it within the first eighteen months of employment). Troubleshooting and programming experience is a plus.

    Responsibilities:
    \- Install, program, repair, test, and inspect fire detection and signaling systems as per schedule
    \- Ensure services align with manufacturer's instructions, related codes/standards, and Company policies
    \- Communicate system discrepancies and necessary repairs to the Company and the customer
    \- Market EFI services to existing and potential customers
    \- Train Alarm Technician Trainees as assigned
    \- Complete administrative duties, including timesheets and reports
    \- Adhere to all Company Standards and Procedures, including safety policies
    \- Continuously pursue education to maintain certifications and licenses

    Qualifications:
    \- Education, experience, and certification as specified in the job description (or equivalent combination)
    \- Team-oriented with excellent verbal and written communication skills
    \- Proficient in English
    \- Practical knowledge of fire protection codes and standards
    \- Self-starter with the ability to work independently
    \- Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
    \- Ability to lift up to 100 pounds, work at heights above 10 feet, and in confined areas
    \- Willingness to travel and work in various environmental conditions
