Graphic Designer Founders Brewing Company - Grand Rapids, MI 49503 SUMMARY Works alongside creative team to assist in the design and development of graphic arts and company creative assets. Takes direction from written or verbal briefs, or visual sketching to translate them into design concepts and design layouts. Works closely with all positions in marketing to maintain brand authenticity throughout creative works. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Includes the following. Other duties may be assigned. Plan, organize, and execute projects; assists in developing graphics and photography for sales, presentations, internet/intranet websites, marketing campaigns, and educational training. Delivers and presents concepts and designs to Design Manager; Assists in the production of a variety of assets including but not limited to, print and digital media, sell sheets, posters, vehicle wraps, sponsorships and event support, point of sale and promotional items, merchandise, photography and other forms of visual communication; Works with Design Manager on maintaining, improving, and running reports on Sales Marketing portal; Understanding of file preparation/finalizing artwork for print and digital applications; Understands die lines/print layouts and printing processes; Works with Design Manager to ensure design consistency across all platforms. Collaborates on design concepts. Ensures design work is applicable in digital and print mediums; Assists with the conceptual thinking, development and execution of creative campaigns across all marketing mediums; has potential to lead or perform this function independently as needed; Works with both text and images. Image manipulation, photo re-touching, 3D renderings; Assists in developing collateral to educate sales team on brand standards and beer release specifications; Creates digital assets for presentations and more; Responsible for special projects as assigned by the Design Manager; Consistently produces opportunities for continuous improvement; QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. GRAPHICS (Proficiency) 2+ years, Adobe CC Suite, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign. * One to three years related marketing experience preferred, alcohol/beverage industry experience a plus. * Demonstrates ability to translate business strategy and objectives into visual and design concepts. * Ability to thrive in a complex, fast-paced environment and adaptable to change. * Demonstrates ability in taking initiative to seek out opportunities and solve problems. * Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time and correctly prioritize multiple projects. * Positive attitude and infectious personal drive that energizes others. * A valued team player that is a role model for collaboration. * Conducts oneself professionally.
