Job Description
POSITION SUMMARY The main purpose of Supply Chain Specialist is to organize the supply of Graepel products to our end customers. The position requires continual support of the GNA Supply Chain Network, collaborating with Graepel staff as well as subcontractors, and communicating with customers to fulfill orders on time.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS STATEMENTS
· Review shipping due dates and prepare shipments to assure on time delivery.
· Input new orders and send order confirmations to the end customer when applicable.
· Prepare shipments by printing delivery notes, labels, and bill of lading documents and coordinate the pickup with a carrier.
· Collaborate with suppliers when hot shipments will be arriving and secure ship dates.
· Notify customers when freight will be delayed and determine their immediate needs to avoid line shutdowns.
· Interact with customers over the phone and via email providing quality customer service.
· Collaborate with customers through their proprietary software programs for shipments and deliveries when applicable.
· Provide administrative support printing correspondence, scanning documents, filing, saving files on the server etc.
· Collaborate within Graepel group to assure smooth transition of product to the end customer.
· Assist with inventory processes and procedures.
· Communicate with co-workers, management, clients and subcontractors in a courteous and professional manner.
· Work a regular schedule determined by supervisory management.
· Perform other duties as assigned by supervisory personnel.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
SKILLS & ABILITIES
EDUCATION: Bachelor’s Degree in Business or similar field preferred.
EXPERIENCE:
· A minimum of 1-2 years’ experience in supply chain working in a manufacturing environment preferred.
· Ability to establish relationships with customers, suppliers and subcontracted manufacturers and familiarity with pricing strategies and negotiation tactics
· Excellent interpersonal communication skills
· Outgoing attitude, communicative and negotiating skills, persuasive power,
· Cooperative attitude
· Willingness to travel domestic and international
COMPUTER SKILLS:
· Experience using MS Office Suite and Business Management Software
