The selected student(s) for this position must be available to work at least 40 hours per week May through August. Based upon your resume and your answers to the prequalifying questions; we will determine which engineering departments you will be most suited for a potential internship. Experience developing flight test plans to support stall demonstration or stall characteristics testing on experimental fixed wing air vehicles 2). Flight test experience either conducting or performing data analysis for stall demonstration or stall characteristics fixed wing air vehicle testing 3). Experience either conducting or performing data analysis for stability and control fixed wing air vehicle testing 4). Expert MS Excel and Matlab are a plus   Principal Duties and Responsibilities: 1. Provides technical assistance to engineering staff and contributes by completing discrete engineering tasks on schedule 2. Using company procedures, applies engineering knowledge to resolve routine issues 3. Analyzes and evaluates results of project activities 4. Prepares recommendations for changes and compiles necessary reports for various department supervision 5. Recognizes discrepancies and/or problems with analysis/test results and works toward corrective action  Additional Functions: 1. Actively works to improve daily processes, and ensures all work meets customer requirements 2. Continues learning and developing knowledge of application of technical principles, theories, and concepts in assigned field of expertise 3. Performs other duties as assigned Education and Experience Requirements: 1. Must be currently seeking a bachelor or master's degree in Aerospace and Mechanical Engineering. 2. Must have proven experience in stability and control (class projects, past work experience, DBF, or related and it must be demonstrated on the submitted resume) 3. Must have a cumulative 3.0 GPA or higher and it must be listed on the submitted resume 4. Must have your own reliable transportation to and from work. 5.
