    Job Description

    POSITION SUMMARY

    The Customer Care Specialist will assist Clients and Customers in a call center environment, via telephone, with orders, inquiries, requests, problem resolution, providing feedback regarding products and services. The customer service representative consults with Clients and Customers to identify additional needs related to the products or services. Recommends appropriate products, services, or solutions. Works on assigned client programs. Performs duties in a courteous, efficient, and professional manner.

    COMPENSATION

    • This position pays between $15.50 - $17.00, depending upon experience.

    HOURS/SCHEDULE

    • Full-time hours during contract period.
    • Days/Evening shifts offered Monday - Friday with rotational weekends based on business need.

    EXPERIENCE / SKILLS PREFERRED

    • Experience in customer contact center, customer service, or retail.
    • Financial or banking-related experience preferred but not required.
    • Familiar with customer service and selling concepts
    • Closing sales and/or lead generation preferred
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to multi-task and be detailed oriented
    • Basic computer skills

    KEY DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Identifying customer needs, fulfilling requests while providing excellent customer service
    • Assist with online banking questions, provide navigational support
    • May be responsible for inbound and/or outbound calls depending on assignment
    • Entering and processing orders, requesting reprints/credits, processing cancel/change requests
    • Ensuring security and privacy of customer information
    • Providing education and support regarding products and services
    • Offers appropriate products, services, and solutions to meet customer needs
    • Maintains complete and accurate records of all call activity as required
    • Works within a team environment maintaining a professional appearance and a quality work atmosphere
    • Monitoring and tracking data of individual performance
    • Recommends appropriate products, services, or solutions
    • Performs duties in a courteous, efficient, and professional manner

    EDUCATION & KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED

    • HS Diploma/GED required
