Carrier is looking for master's level graduates with demonstrated leadership ability, learning agility, and the desire to develop as Human Resources professionals to join our Human Resources Leadership Program! The Human Resources Leadership Program (HRLP) is an 18-month rotational program that exposes aspiring human resources leaders to Carrier's human resource function and business segments through three, six-month rotations. HRLPs will build capabilities through hands-on experiences in a culture that values integrity, respect, inclusion, innovation, and excellence.
HRLP associates will have an opportunity to work collaboratively with cross-functional leaders in a future-forward HR operating model that includes Communities of Expertise (CoEs), HR Operations, and HR Business Partners. Associates will complete assignments in diverse functional areas of Human Resources that will accelerate their development and career progression in the function. HRLP Program Management will partner with you to develop a career path inclusive of experiences that will balance your interests and company needs. Candidates must be proven team players, who take initiative, have sound analytical capabilities, and demonstrate enthusiasm for learning.
POSITION DESCRIPTION
During the associate's time in the program, rotational assignments are available in Fire & Security Products, Refrigeration, HVAC, and Carrier's Corporate Headquarters. Our commitment is to provide front-line, hands-on, meaningful assignments designed to stretch and build your capabilities across Human Resources. Each associate will have the opportunity to experience different functional rotations which may include human resources business partnerships, exposure to plant or factory workforces, total rewards, talent programs, talent acquisition, and project management.
Rotation locations may include North Carolina, Indiana, Georgia, Tennessee, Massachusetts, Florida, or another Carrier location with an exciting opportunity. The program provides training, immersion experiences, and mentorship to supplement rotational experiences. HRLP associates will be paired with HR executive mentors throughout the program.
EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS
Selection for the Carrier Human Resources Leadership Program will be based on the following minimum criteria:
Applicant must be US Citizen or Permanent Resident
Excellent analytical and communication skills
3-5 years of relevant prior work experience within human resources or related functions preferred
Mobility during the 18-month program and to off place into a role at Carrier upon completion; this is a developmental rotation program and requires on-site experiences in multiple locations
EDUCATION:
Master's degree or MBA required, human resources, industrial or organizational psychology, industrial & labor relations, or other business concentration
Strong academic performance, minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0, with 3.2 or higher preferred (at time of application)
