  • Responsibilities

    Seeking experienced fitters to assemble a range of unique and robust industrial machinery. We need skilled professionals for precise fit-up tasks on specialized equipment. Responsibilities: • Develop welding projects by analyzing work orders, prints, and completed assembly. • Understanding requirements; determining and executing appropriate welding techniques. • Fit-up equipment according to drawings, maintaining a high level of workmanship and accuracy. • Be resourceful to solve problems and make it work. • Fabricate components by using equipment to clean, prepare, cut, burn, and weld pieces; setting up and measuring assemblies; selecting appropriate methods. • Verifies welding results by inspecting and testing welds. • Document actions by completing records. Maintain compliance with ISO9001 quality management system. • Maintain a safe work environment by following procedures; and complying with legal regulations. • Keeps equipment operating by following operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; maintaining supplies; performing preventive maintenance; and calling for repairs. • Independently set up welding equipment and deliver high-quality welding results. • Efficiently handle manual assembly of intricate machinery parts. • Adhere to strict safety protocols in the workshop. • Proficient in basic fabrication techniques and use of machinery like band saws, drill presses, and tap drills. Qualifications: • Min 3 years experience in MIG welding, blueprint reading, and fit-up. • Ability to maintain consistent daily attendance. • Desire to excel and take pride in your work and personal achievement. Compensation: $22 - $26 hourly
